  • Our one year fast track GCSE programme is also ideal for those returning back to education after some time out.

IGCSE are designed for the global learner and have been developed in consultation with the international school community, including a large number of teachers and world class academics.

IGCSE is equivalent to GCSE (in the UK), GCE, WAEC, NECO (in Africa) and other similar qualifications around the world.

The qualification is recognized by most notable educational institutions around the world.

ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GCSE AND IGCSE PROGRAMME?

It is believed that IGCSE is more challenging and rigorous than GCSE. IGCSE is structured like the GCSE O-Levels qualification in the UK and similar to the old GCE structure in Africa. IGCSE predominantly prepares students for A’ Levels, a kind of education similar to the old Higher School Certificate programmes in West African countries. IGCSE helps students develops creative thinking, problem solving and prepares them for advanced education.

Most independent schools in the UK now offer IGCSE as an alternative to conventional British GCSEs. They believe IGCSE better develops learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills through rich contents like Intellectual enquiry; Flexibility and responsiveness to change; Working and communicating in English; Influencing outcomes and Cultural awareness.
