Our experienced online teachers offer LIVE virtual lessons as well as one-to-one tuition if required.
BTC virtual teachers use a combination of microphone, text chat, a whiteboard, presentation software, videos and weblinks to deliver their online lessons.

English lessons are taught by native English Speakers
Our English language subject is taught by native English speakers.
Certificate with global recognition
Upon completion of the iGCSE and A’Level programmes, students will receive their certificate from examination board with global recognition.
Weekly Assemblies
Just like ‘normal school’, students meet once in a week for a general assembly. It is an opportunities for the whole school to come together to share insight, news and do reflections.
Same like Traditional School
We are able to offer you everything you expect from a school…plus a whole lot more! Students are taught in timetabled classrooms, Monday to Friday. The teachers lead a fully interactive and engaging lesson designed to achieve the highest learning outcomes. There are assemblies, clubs and interacting sessions. No real difference between learning on campus or live online.
Small Class size
Class sizes are limited to twenty students per class.
Lessons are recorded
Our lessons are recorded – if a student joins part way through the year, old lessons could be viewed. If a student is absent, they could watch the recording later. At exam time, the recordings can be used for revision purposes.
All BTC’s lesson materials can be saved at the end of the session. Lesson slides and other materials are available at any time via the recordings.

Apart from studying for their GCSE and A-level exams, students can join clubs, attend weekly school assemblies, make life-long friends. Students will come from all backgrounds and all parts of the world. By the time they graduate they have developed incredible skills to help them pursue a global career.

Fully Qualified and Police checked teachers
Our teachers and support staff are all fully. They all undergo criminal record and Police checked before starting to teach.
Perfect for home schooling or during any pandemic or school lockdown
Live online education is perfect for students who have been ‘failed’ or ‘frustrated’ by their current schools. It is very ideal for students who have been struggling with school anxiety, or have had problems with bullying.
Enrichment & Extra-Curricular Activities
Students are encouraged to join at least one extracurricular club. They can choose from Debating, Creative Computing, Art, our Book Club, or Film Production.
Our clubs are designed to broaden student’s interests and encourage them to develop a sense of independent learning and creativity. The extracurricular activities are embedded in students’ timetable so everyone is able to have fun while learning.
Mentorship
Every student is assigned a mentor. The mentor gives feedback to parents and also arrange one to one meeting with students for supports.
What about Exams?
BTC student who are studying online will sit their terminal exam at BTC campus or any designated centres closer to them. They will sit their exam and receive official results from the awarding body just like at “normal” school.
There is also a registration fee for each exam they are going to take, set by the examination board, along with a small registration fee from us to enter student into these exams.
There will be exam at the end of every term which can be done live online at home through a secure test system.
It is only mandatory for students to attend campus for terminal exams.
What about certificate?
Students will receive their certificate from awarding body . The certificates are exactly the same as those students who study on campus. The certificate will not indicate whether students study online or on campus.
What about A’level?
Our A’ Level programme will be launched in September 2021. We have started taking application for that so students can apply online at www.btcnigeria.org
Mandatory requirement
Students will need a laptop or computer to join the live online classroom sessions and also to access the online learning platform and elibrary
