Global Leaders Award (100% tuition waiver)
Our global leaders’ scholarship award is designed for students starting SSS1 or IGCSE who have excellent academic track record and potential to study at world’s class Universities abroad. Successful students will not pay tuition fees but will pay cost of living and accommodation (hostels). Scholarship will be awarded after completion of the admission process including receipt of satisfactory academic testimonials and references. This scholarship is expected to be competitive and applicants must be prepared to undergo rigorous screening process including situational judgement test, interview and personal statement.
COVID-19 Tuition Relief – N250,000.00 Cash Assistance
This cash assistance is to support parents who may be affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents will get N250,000.00 cash bonus towards the payment of their child fees. Parents must indicate if they require this assistance at the point of admission. Cash assistance applies to only parents paying annual school fees at once.
COVID-19 Tuition Relief is for only 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 admissions.
Global Community Scholarships (Non-means-tested – 30% tuition waiver)
Our Global Community Scholarships is designed for students who have the intellectual curiosity and potential to compete and succeed but cannot do so due to financial circumstances. Our Global Community Scholarship awards up to 30% of tuition fees waiver for students entering year 10 (IGCSE). This is a non-means-tested award.
We are particularly interested in awarding this scholarship to students with excellent academic portfolio, and with the potential to make an exceptional contribution to our College and the global community, including in the sports, arts, or extracurricular activities.
Means-tested Financial Assistance
BTC offer means-tested partial scholarship to all other students irrespective of their course of study.
BTC will offer this means- tested scholarship to qualifying students who meets our selection criteria. Depending on applicant’s financial circumstances, this means-tested scholarship could represent a high proportion of overall tuition fees.
Applicants are required to submit supporting evidence of their income, capital, and other assets. Means testing is carried out annually and levels of support will fluctuate with parental income.
How to apply for scholarship and financial assistance
It is not necessary to apply for the Scholarship – all applicants attaining the minimum agreed academic standard will automatically be considered for scholarship and financial award.
In order to be considered, you must have applied to College and complete the application process including entrance exam and interview. Based on the information we gathered during entrance exam and interview, we will automatically offer applicants a conditional offer of award.
