British Academic launch world class college in Akure

A private college in Akure aiming to rival Elton College – the UK’s best-known private school – is being launched by a Nigerian born British academic and a leading school business professional, Dr Joe Obe.

The British Transatlantic College, Akure says it will teach students and prepare them for Universities education in the UK and beyond.

The privately-owned Akure-based college opens its door for limited number of students in October 2020 and is planning to charge annual tuition fees of only N1.2 Million Nigeria Naira, an equivalent of £2,400 as against £37,602 charged in Elton College in England.

Based in Akure, South western Nigeria, British Transatlantic College says it offers IGCSE, A ‘levels and University foundation programmes with guarantee transfer to universities in UK, USA, Canada and beyond. The College also admits student into JSS1, SSS1 only for Nigeria curriculum.
